Classic Bouquets was formed to showcase the very best of natural fresh flowers.

Living and working close to the flower growing districts of Monbulk and Silvan allows us to hand select all of the natural elements that mix seasonally into our beautiful bouquets.

We're not like the High Street retail florist—we make-to-order, uniquely styled bouquets of farm-fresh cut flowers, without the garish plastic wrap and stuffed boxes of traditional florists.

Our long experience within the wedding flower industry allows us to offer wedding-quality blooms as everyday pleasures.

For me, working with flowers is therapeutic - flowers always make for happy feelings and are so beautiful. I know it’s strange but my favourite flower is Molucca Balm (Irish Bells) which smells like a mix of Springtime and the tropics, and it’s my favourite colour! Not so usual in wedding flowers but on occasion they add a nice tall texture to feature arrangements, which are my favourite designs to create - the show stoppers with a mix of everything! The colour trends I am really liking lately is the combination of mauve, champagne, silver, green and white.

It’s an amazing feeling for me to be involved in bringing dreams to life for one of the best days in a couples' life - I love weddings! Almost as much as I love peonies which are oh so pretty when seeing them open from the smallest bud to the largest bloom in every colour. My favourite wedding flowers so far were the vibrant blooms for Sarah and Ryan - so colourful and unique! And of course, I did love my own wedding flowers - but if I was to do it all again today, I might have lots of colour or an unstructured Australian native bouquet 🙂

I like the escape from the everyday routine that working with flowers gives me and the indulgence in creative work. For nostalgic reasons, I still love the classic Gerberas which were the first flowers I was ever given - but there are so many beautiful blooms! I get huge satisfaction in the small and fidgety designs… I love making buttonhole and signage flowers as part of a bigger event! And I really can’t decide whether I like the combination of burgundy/reds with white flowers or the blush pinks and whites - I swear it changes every time I make an arrangement!

We are located on Mount Dandenong, with meetings arranged by appointment only.
